It had started drizzling early morning on a fresh Monday. The way to the academic block was quite misty. It was like walking right through the clouds. Nostalgia gripped me and took me way back to my school days in 2003 when the District Magistrate of Patna ordered all the schools to be closed in the wake of below-freezing temperatures. The fog had descended from the Hell only to blind our foresight. But anyway that was 2003 and I was in school and it was winter. Now it's 2018, I'm doing my MBA and it is summer. It is like taking a giant leap from our ignorant and scary childhood to a more conscious and bold adulthood. It would be too early to say we are on cloud nine but we definitely in cloud one and the destination is not quite far.
Now, what about the journey?
We, humans, are always optimistic about our destinations and ramble about it but rarely do we have a positive perception of our journey. We more often than not complain about the sandstorms but forget to cherish the oases. Storms or oases, whatever they may be, is it fun to bear them alone? The answer is no. I would like to work with Aditya Birla Capital as it is one of the top 5 fund managers in the country. Getting an opportunity to work as a strategic Human Resources Business Partner I would be able to map employee performance directly with business performance. It would not only be an immense learning opportunity but would also provide a very dynamic work environment.
