Don't Be Afraid Of Failures: A Dream Come True

"Don’t be afraid of failures and don’t abandon it."
The experience I will share is something many of my friends would have surely come across, but then it is sad that we don't Speak Up at times.
Born to a middle-income family in Bhubaneswar, My parents made sure that I got the best of the facilities for which they had to choose a rickshaw over a scooter and walk for miles instead of going for a comfortable journey to reach the office; they were happy as they ended up saving ten rupees per day which they had planned to either buy some good food for me or get me some clothes.

I was decent with my academics, although I never received a prize apart from a short play and a flower show competition. Remember that getting accolades is super good and speaks volumes about your achievements, but then it is not the only thing. Getting Into Infosys was a big moment in my life where I realized I could make my parents proud. I could see those tears in their eyes and realized that they never cared about the outgoing calls bill during that moment.
My parents aligned their dreams with mine and would nod to anything I asked them at any time.
Six years down the line, now I am in one of India's top B schools XLRI Jamshedpur XLRI ExPGDM. The journey was challenging where I saw people leaving me; people making fun of my poor CAT scores.
But as they say, parents are the backbone; my parents stood beside me and even pacified themselves, stating at times, "this year's question paper was a bit on the tougher side."
During the 27 years, we switched from a Chetak to a Ciaz, Kundan jewellery to Kalyan jewellery, and Connaught Place Titn watch to Tommy Hilfiger watches.
Yes! Indeed, I am proud that I have been a contributor to that.

My dear Connections, starting tomorrow when you go to your job or for your classes, the motivation should be to put a smile on the faces of your parents. It works terrific.
If you feel lost during this challenging journey, take a break, talk to your parents or loved ones, and realize you are their elixir of happiness, and they are super proud of you.

"Don't settle with this score, as it is a long way to go to reach the shore. Keep working and make your family proud, and they will cheer out loud."

Don’t give up. If not today, it will happen tomorrow for sure.

Thank You.
