Dreams do come true!

Part A:

Aditya Birla Group has made its presence known in almost every sector that it operates in. One such product that played a significant part in my life is IDEA cellular. I have been a studious person throughout my childhood and did not require any handset till my 11th standard when I joined tuition classes for the first time.

My father got me a dual sim Micromax mobile and provided me with an older SIM of his. He also asked me to buy one on my own. I went and bought an idea sim for the first time in my family. We had recently shifted to our new house situated in outskirts of the main city and the mobile connectivity was mostly low. Mom heard someone in the neighborhood about Idea and some part of it was still in my memory.

It actually had a better connectivity in my area. After a few days, I got into an accident while travelling to my school. It wasn’t a major one but I was unable to move much due to the pain and since it was a little away from the hustle of the city, no one noticed it for quite some time. I tried to look for my phone and luckily it was still working. I looked if there was any connectivity and to my disappointment, none was there. I restarted my mobile and got a very weak signal on my idea sim. I called my dad with whatever strength I could gather. Idea cellular took me out of a difficult situation and became a very important part of my life henceforth.

Part B:

Much Like Aditya Birla Group follows the ideology that “tough times don’t last, tough people do”, I believe in the same. Recently, I was posed with a difficult experience when about three months before my CAT exam I got sick with severe jaundice. When my friends were preparing diligently for the exam, I couldn’t manage to join my college for about 45 days after registering for the seventh semester. I used to talk to them at times and felt bad for how much I was missing on. My father told me to trust in myself and gave me the much essential boost without which I wouldn’t have made it.

On top of this, the placement drive was in full swing during that period and I missed almost all the good companies before finally coming back and securing a placement opportunity. I was still in recovery phase and had a final year project to work on. It was simply too difficult to focus on CAT preparation properly with all the situation constraints. But in all this, I never gave up and stuck to my plan of atleast giving all the Mock tests regularly.

Eventually on the day of the exam, I put in the best efforts I could even though I could sense the lack in preparation. I was a bit tensed up initially but as the exam progressed, I felt at ease and confident with my strategic choices. I got a decent percentile and eventually converted my dream B-school.

Believe in your dreams and work towards them incessantly. Dreams do come true.
