“Life is the most challenging phase for an individual”
Coming from a family of scholars where my father and sister are graduates from IIT Roorkee and BITS Pilani respectively. I aspired to pursue engineering from a reputed institute at an early age. Hence in 10th standard, I left my home and came to Delhi to start preparing for IIT-JEE.
This was the phase that was quite challenging for me. Homesickness and the rigorous schedule of coaching institute contributed in making my journey tougher. Fear of competition started giving me nightmares. But as it is rightly said:
“All that happens actually happens for the good”
With the passage of time my fear of living alone diminished and I started managing things which helped me in transforming from a boy who was dependent on his parent’s for everything to an independent adult.
My poor grades in the first coaching test added to my agony. I was unable to secure a position in the batch I aspired for. At that time I understood that you cannot achieve anything while being in your comfort zone. Hence I took a tough call to start working hard towards my target. I stepped out of my comfort zone and strive for that one extra output.
Unfortunately I was unable to get admission into IIT but this did not disappoint me as I was happy that I was able to explore a whole different person inside me who was ready to take challenges. This period of my life has been a life changer for me.
