Life is uncertain. Throughout my life, there was never a moment when I could say, “Yes, this is my next course of action.”  I never know the answer to “What next?”. I have explored and I am still exploring variety of career options. I never found my calling. After a few years, I have made peace with this fact that I don’t know which career I would land in. What keeps me going is setting short term goals. I set goals that I know I may not be able to achieve but at the end I will gain something, be it very minimal. I focus and work hard on the assignments and projects that I have been given. I try to do them diligently. Whatever role I am playing on the stage of life, I make sure I play it well.

Other attitude that helps me overcome challenges is acting. When people are thinking about doing something, I act and start the work. When people waste time on thinking about the work and procrastinating, I act.

Another important thing I do is breaking down the task into smaller chunks. Instead of completing the work at the eleventh hour, I take it day by day. Burdening oneself all at once is a big no.  One may fail in life if one doesn’t give enough time to the work. One may somehow make it through that test, but that result will not be satisfactory enough. The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that “extra”.

Lastly, I carry a line in my head, “Every problem has a solution”. So, all the challenges will be conquered.
