They deliver superior values to their customers, employees, shareholders and the society at large. A common middle-class person has various needs and he desires for an affordable range of amenities. In India, almost all of these are provided by Aditya Birla Group. It is the third largest company in India with its global presence in over 30 countries around the globe. The company is engaged in producing diversified products like cement, carbon black, metals, chemicals, fertilizers, branded clothing, telecom, healthcare and many more. Its products have touched millions of lives.
ABG has been contributing to the nation in many ways since Independence, be it economically or socially. They have never failed in serving the nation with its various corporate social responsibilities. They have contributed towards, healthcare with its world-class range of hospitals, women empowerment groups, biogas plants, education and also infrastructure.
Aditya Birla Group has a considerable impact on my life. Communication is very much needed in this digital world and ABG has their own telecom product called IDEA and I have been using their telecom product ‘Idea’, now Vodafone since high school. Vodafone Idea is India’s largest telephone operator with subscribers over 400 million and has a total of 31.1% share in the market after the merger. They also provide high-speed Internet 4G facility to their users.
Aditya Birla Fashion Limited consists of many well-known fashion brands and has a major hold in the fashion market of India. They have hundreds of retail outlets in the country dealing in both menswear and womenswear. I hold many clothes of their brands such as Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Peter England and many more. These branded apparel surely adds to the wardrobe of every Indian. Their products are worthy because of its durability and quality.
To conclude, the footprints of the Aditya Birla Group can be seen in everyone’s life. Their contribution is massive and they have successfully improved the standard of living of the people of India.

We often turn away from the challenges we face in our lives rather than dealing with it. We have mastered this by avoiding it. But if we want to enjoy life and live to the fullest then we must embrace the challenges and orient ourselves towards facing reality.
People face challenges in every part of their lives but a few stories keep revolving around them every time they think about the challenges they faced. One such challenge that I had faced is when I was sent to a boarding school. I was 7 years old and did not know any basic thing which is usually taught by parents to their kids. I didn't know how to eat, how to talk to strangers and the most important thing was how to see the world at that age. The biggest challenge for me was to differentiate between what is good and what is bad. I was so confused and lacked direction in my life. I used to feel homesick, insecure and uncomfortable, and all of these hampered my studies as well.
With the following years, I learned to deal with life. I became an independent and self-reliant person. The fact that I couldn’t run to my parents for every silly thing helped me learn how to manage things alone. Living among 100s of other kids from very diverse culture and background, it gave me an exposure like no other. It made me a better social being who can adapt to any different culture or place and understand and appreciate it. I also improved a lot with my studies and secured 10/10 CGPA and 91.2% in my 10th and 12th boards respectively and also got into one of the prestigious colleges in India, National Institute of Technology Rourkela.
I conclude by saying that transformation is a process, and as life happens there are tons of ups and downs but you should never lose focus on your goals and ambitions. Life is a journey of discovery, there are moments on mountain tops and also moments in deep valleys of despair.
