I have seen many challenges at every step in my life. My key to overcoming these challenges is a strong mind. My ambition has always been to become a successful manager and I belong to a place where people don’t even know what an MBA is. The first major challenge I faced in my life related to my education or career was when I changed my school in 8th standard from Hindi medium to English medium. It was not only the change in the language of learning but a very big change for me as my entire family shifted to nearby town from our village for this.

As a kid, I faced a lot of challenges throughout the year such as language barriers, social barriers, insecurities and what not. I was different from everyone because I came from a different background. I got bullied by other students because of this. I had excelled in my academics before this and all I knew at that time was I could not let it affect my education. I kept myself focused and continued working hard in all the adverse situations. And I succeeded, not only I performed well in my academics but also topped the class in the next academic year. I also made some life long friendships.

This entire episode in such a young age taught me a lot, especially about overcoming challenges. I used its learnings at almost every step and in every challenge in my life. Hard work and consistency are very basic virtues and everyone draws our attention towards it but a few know the importance of it. If you are sincere and have the will power of doing whatever it takes, then no one can stop you from achieving your goals in life.

Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life?

I was born and brought up in a small village in south Rajasthan where 80% of the population indulge in agriculture one or the other way. My father himself owns agricultural land and looks after all the activities happening on the land. When my siblings and I were young, we used to go to the farm with my father and play. With time I realised the importance of agriculture and farmers in our life individually and as a country too. Understanding the economic, social and financial impact of farming increased my interest in it.

Aditya Birla group has a major part in my agricultural learning as we started using Indo Gulf fertilisers in 2004 after a period of unfavourable farm production. These products actually helped in the increase of overall production of the farm and also improved the quality of the soil and crop. Later, when I was in college doing my under-graduation, I joined an internship in an NGO dedicated to agribusiness and farmers in the tribal area of south Rajasthan. When I was working there, I researched about the products which my father used and I personally recommended The Birla Shaktiman Vardaan and some plant and soil health products to the farmers of the area I was working in. These fertilisers are crop and soil specific and plant and a blend of micro and macronutrients which provide complete nutrition to the crop. During my internship, I learned more about other agricultural products of Indo Gulf Fertilisers and these products helped the farmers in increasing their produce and improving its nutritional benefit.
