I experienced a wonderful childhood in the home of my dreams. Aditya Birla Group was the foundation of that dream. Never have I realized how Aditya Birla Group was an integral part of my personality development.
Growing up I was a shy kid, who loved playing in every nook and corner of my house. At times I was in a battlefield defending the courtyard, at another, I was a teacher teaching a huge classroom from my dining hall. The dreams I lived in and experienced were a part and parcel of the place which I proudly call my home. The first time I visited the place of construction, I was in awe of the different processes occurring around the site. In a huge pile in the corner laid the Ultra Tech Cement bags which was the foundation of my dream and of millions of other dreams in this country. As a kid then I did not understand what it was or what it did.
There are few things in life which are a parcel of it, whose influence we would never realize. When we ponder at moments like this, it makes us realize how much impact they have on us. Aditya Birla Group is one of them, it has been an integral part of my life. From the latest fashion to the sturdiest of building foundations I have Aditya Birla Group to thank. You have made my dreams come true and of million others.
Challenges that I overcame to achieve my ambitions in life so far:
The first time anyone would see me they would assume that I am an extrovert and can interact with people at ease. If the same person would have seen me during my 12th standard, they would find it hard to believe that I was a very shy kid since childhood. I was the hutch puppy of my parents and followed them around everywhere and needed them in doing anything.
Later on, as I grew up, I decided that I needed to get out of comfort zone and explore the things around me. My under graduation gave me this opportunity.
Stepping out of home and falling into a pool of people from diverse backgrounds and places, I panicked and was skeptical if this was the right thing for me? Then I decided it was high time I break the barriers which I have created for myself. I went with the flow and did not back out.
Being away from parents and doing things by myself made me realize how pampered I was and how much effort it takes to doing anything. But when I started doing things on my own, I realized how much time and patience it takes to get things done. The learnings it provided, helped me in making a better version of myself. The sense of freedom and independence it provided surprised me. I enjoyed being independent me. I learnt how to deal with situations and people in life. I met new people and explored new options and have realized the different opportunities life gives us.
We miss all of this being in a bubble and shell of our own. Stepping out of this bubble was an eyeopener for me, and you will never find me backing away from new opportunities or meeting new people.
