‘Why Aditya Birla Group is big in your life’

The ubiquitous presence of Aditya Birla Group has touched my life in one way or the other, be it the cement used in building our home, the rubber used in tires of our automobiles, the aluminum kitchenware used in our home and the clothes that we wear. We daily use countless aluminum and copper objects we don’t even realize that increases the quality of our life like in cars, refrigerators, food packaging and utensils, aircraft, metro rains and the most important the power cables that supply us the electricity. All of this would not have been possible without Hindalco. ABG fashion retails has helped me in shaping my personality be it office wear of Louis Phillip to semi-formal of Peter England to party wear of Allen Solly. Vodafone Idea, my first telecom provider, has been part of my life ever since, it has helped me stay close to my family even though I was thousands of kilometers away, it has provided me with seamless sources of entertainment even in the remotest places I have ever been. I feel that my primary reception to ABG products is not the only source, ABG being the largest supplier of aluminum and carbon black is also one the leaders in recycling the same by keeping our surroundings clean and environmentally friendly. ABG presence in active welfare activities like community Initiatives in healthcare, education and rural development helps build a better sustainable life. I believe ABG presence in Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Social and Economic development has molded my perception towards life in a positive way.

‘How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far’

I have encountered many hurdles in my life and I find each challenge as an opportunity to build a better future because I believe “Good judgment comes from experience, and experience comes from bad judgment” A recent challenge that I faced in my life was leaving my old job for a year for the preparation of management exams, I had worked in the hospitality sector for about three and a half years and not done any study preparation since leaving my college. Management exams being one of the most competitive exams in the country required my single focus on it, because my job demanded at least 12 hours of involvement daily. So I had to take the risk of leaving my job for the preparation of the exams, it was a huge risk with the uncertain consequence because leaving a job for study does not guarantee one with a good college. How I overcame this challenge was meeting many people with similar experiences and understanding their point of view. This does not mean I depend upon other peoples’ judgment but this helped me in weighing my pros and con before taking any decision. A similar past experience I had was when I had to relocate to a different city alone, been born and brought in a protective environment in the same place my entire childhood. Instead of viewing it as a hurdle I found it a new opportunity to prove myself. I believe in having a positive outlook towards any difficult situation can make it seem effortless
