When you find people with whom you can connect and be who you really are, you find your true friend. I am fortunate, the person whom I met first time in my engineering class became one of my best friends. With him, I shared the best four years of my life. We shared our ups and downs and enjoyed the journey called life. From waking each other for the class to motivating each other to perform in college fest, we became each other back backbone. After we graduated, we went for different paths. He went for his family business, and I started working for an MNC. One day I received his call, he told me how he fell in love with a girl and is getting married. I was delighted to hear this. I began preparing for his wedding. I was searching for the perfect attire which would do justice do to the occasion. Thanks to Aditya Birla Group, Louis Philippe came to the rescue. I found the attire which suited my personality and made me feel confident. For the perfect occasion to celebrate friendship, Aditya Birla Group helped me to become my true self.
How I overcame my stage fright
When I was young I was introduced to rock music by my elder brother. Tryst with rock music made me transcend to another world. I was inspired by rock legends like Jim Morrison, Jimmy Page, John Lennon. They inspired me to pick up the guitar and learn it. I began practicing guitar with my close friend and learned a few songs. My friend suggested that we should perform at the annual school concert. I really wanted to, but the idea to perform in front of all the students in my school sent shivers down my spine. I couldn't face my stage fright. I missed the opportunity to play at the annual school concert. I regretted it, but I felt helpless as I couldn't face my fear of performing in front of people. I almost gave up on forming my band and playing in front of people. I then went to Manipal Institute Of Technology for graduation, there I found many like-minded people who had the same taste in music and played different instruments. I knew this was a second chance for me to perform in front of people and face my stage fright. I formed a band with my friends and practiced day and night. Finally the day of the performance came, initially, I was really nervous and when I entered the stage that nervousness transformed into excitement. The time had finally come to face my fear; I closed my eyes and played the guitar from my heart. It was one of the most ecstatic experience I ever had.
