As the clock ticks away on this momentous 29th of February 2024, the campus of IIFT Kakinada is abuzz with excitement as it hosts the D-day of the Hult Prize. This prestigious competition, founded in 2009, spans over 3000 campuses across 120 countries, challenging students to devise innovative solutions to pressing social issues and contribute towards making a positive impact on the world. The theme for this 15th-anniversary competition, unveiled by former US President Bill Clinton at the Global Finals event in Paris, carries a groundbreaking twist: it's UNLIMITED!

Vaibhav Gupta, the Campus Director, has played a pivotal role in orchestrating this event at IIFT Kakinada, providing a platform for budding entrepreneurs to showcase their transformative ideas. The panel of esteemed judges for this campus round includes Dr. Javed Bhat from IIM Trichy, Priyank Jain from SoupX, and Raj Kapoor, an alumnus of IIFT. Their collective expertise spans the realms of academia, industry, and alumni success, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of the participating teams.

The atmosphere is charged with anticipation as student teams prepare to present their innovative solutions to address the unlimitable challenge. The Hult Prize is not just a competition; it is a journey of transformation, providing participants with invaluable experience and exposure. As the teams take the stage, they will share their ideas on how to contribute to the unlimited possibilities of positive change.

Just as the Hult Prize has done on various campuses worldwide, today's event at IIFT Kakinada is set to inspire a new wave of socially conscious entrepreneurs who aim to cast stones across the waters, creating ripples of positive impact that extend far beyond the confines of their campus.

The winning teams from today's event will be the torchbearers representing IIFT Kakinada in the upcoming regional finals in Mumbai. As they move forward, the Hult Prize continues to be the beacon guiding these teams on their quest for the one-of-a-kind award in seed capital—a staggering $1,000,000.

It's not just the finals; it is a celebration of innovation, resilience, and the spirit of making a difference. Today marks a significant chapter in the Hult Prize journey, and as the curtain rises on the campus, we eagerly await to witness the birth of new ideas that could potentially change the course of our world.
