Like most of us, I have had many challenges in my life that made me cry, that deterred me at times, that made me question my abilities, but I would see them as tough times and opportunities that helped me build a tougher shield and enabled me to evolve as a stronger more confident individual.
One such challenge I faced happened during my school board exams. I have been a consistent performer ever since my school days. Come 12th standard and I was in full swing preparation mode for CBSE boards and IIT-JEE mains preparation. I was scoring well and was pretty satisfied with my level of readiness. It was end-January and I was revising my concepts when I noticed a few red dots on my torso. I went for a check-up and it turned out to be chicken pox. The days that followed were full of severe headache, high fever, fatigue, and itching blisters all over my body. I could not help missing my classes and started losing my focus and momentum. I felt distressed and helpless with boards just a fortnight away. I decided to revamp my preparation strategy and give it my best anyways. I ended up with a decent 91% in 12th and an above average performance in the JEE exam.
Like Rocky Balboa once said, “It’s not about how hard you hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward”. These are the words that help me stay abreast of my challenges and keep me motivated in all circumstances.
Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life
Aditya Birla Group, being the third largest conglomerate in India, certainly has a greater degree of exposure in our lives than we can contemplate.
When I as an average Indian reflect upon my daily life, it surprises me on the extent of penetration Aditya Birla Group has on my lifestyle, and how indispensable is its value to me as a customer both directly and indirectly, to its shareholders, its employees and the society at large.
Right from the countless calls, I make in a day with the Vodafone Idea telecom services; to the branded label clothes of Allen Solly and Van Heusen that I cherish; Aditya Birla has been very successful in extending its reach to the core of my life. Apart from this, I wouldn’t shy away from recognizing its significant contribution to the cover glass of the fancy smartphone that I use; to the high standards of resistance quality offered by Birla Carbon to the tyres that make my social life accessible; and not to forget of the massive support Aditya Birla companies such as Ultra Tech Cement and Birla Copper make to the transport system of India, which is indeed the backbone of our economy.
All in all, the more I learn about this group, the more enlightened I get of the exposure it has on my life. I am a proud customer of the products and services of Aditya Birla Group and will continue to remain, given the social initiatives it is involved in, be it the installment of 1000 Biogas plants, its support towards child education and nourishment, healthcare CSR, women empowerment, and many such initiatives taken by the group for the upliftment of India as a growing economy.
