"IIM Udaipur’s Admission Committee will decide the number of candidates who would be called for PA process on the basis of criteria prepared for each category. However, if the actual number of short-listed candidates is found to be less (more) than the required number of candidates to be called for WAT & PI category-wise, then the overall, as well as the section-wise minimum score, would be reduced (increased) to get the desired number of candidates.
The IIMs who are participating in the CAP have decided to adopt a common admission process (CAP 2019 process) of WAT & PI to be coordinated this year by IIM Ranchi. The scores obtained by the candidate in WAT & PI of CAP 2019 would be considered for preparing the merit list." - IIM Udaipur Official Website

IIM Udaipur Selection Criteria 2018: Generation of Final Merit List -
The final step includes the generation of the Final Merit list based on the selection criteria.
Final Score of candidate = Shortlisting Criteria + WAT-PI
The Verdict -
With 55% of weightage of CAT 2018 score, it is clear that a good percentile in CAT will be the most crucial aspect of getting admission into IIM Udaipur; one that can help a candidate overcome her/his past academic profile. Work experience and graduation marks are the next most important components, so freshers with an average graduation percentage (60-70; below 60) are at a disadvantage. If you are a female non-engineer, you get 8% weightage in the IIM Udaipur selection criteria 2018. According to the InsideIIM Gender Diversity Report, only 25% of the students in the current batch are women. Marks for diversity can help improve that figure.
This elaborate shortlisting process with multiple components makes admission into IIM Udaipur a level playing ground for applicants with all kinds of backgrounds.
