Struggles and challenges are a part of not just mine but every person’s life.
I too have been into situations when the chips were down, and how I overcame those situations is a testimony to what my character is. I can think of two major examples that have changed the course of my life.
The 12th boards. The stage was set for me to perform and prove my mettle against the country’s brightest minds. Exactly a week before the boards I’m put to the toughest challenge of my life. My father became sick and has to be taken to Indore from Bhopal overnight for treatment.
I, being a single child- alone at the house, worried for my father had to swallow my emotions and prepare for the exams. I did that with utmost sincerity and delivered the results too. The school topper for the batch, the city topper in accounts, and the son of the happiest man on the Earth.
The second instance is from the last year when I was preparing for my B-school competitive exams. My father was diagnosed with brain cancer in June. After months of struggle, pain, and endless treatments the worst time of my life dawned on me and I had to face the loss of my father. After days of being down and in the worst mental framework I could possibly ever be in, I come back stronger and ace most of the exams I appear in.
All of it just proves that no matter what, having the courage to face your worst fears head-on is the best way to become a better person.
Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life?
To answer a question like this, one has to first find the answer to the questions - Why do people need to be social? Why do people need a roof over their heads? Why do people need clothes on their bodies?
Perhaps the answer to all these questions including the one at the top is simply answered in a single line. ‘Improved overall quality of life. ’ That’s exactly what Aditya Birla Group has been doing since over a century for us.
From putting roofs over our head, to providing our country with employment opportunities for its people to have food on its plate the group has done incredibly exceptional work.
Being a major contributor to the GDP, the group also provides people with financial services to make their dreams come true, which is exactly how my parents got to buy their first house in Bhopal when I was just a little kid (8 yrs old).
Above all that the group has provided me with is the luxury to own several clothes, that are reasonable and second to none in terms of quality and comfort.
The Idea cellular network has been a part of my life for the major part of it and has helped me through not only school assignments but has even been a motivator to me in terms of creativity. With its brilliant ads, the group has set itself apart and made itself a part of every Indian household.
It can be said that the Aditya Birla Group has fulfilled the ‘Indian Dream’.
