we haven't any idea about how this community suffer in india. Indian people mindset always too biased. but when it come likes this topic no one have any idea or knowledge about this. All Know about LGBT, but noone idea about The Transgender Persons' Bill 2019. This Bill is changed defination about Transgender and intersex. Transgender defination as per bill, a transgender person is someone whose "gender does not match with the gender assigned to that person at birth and includes tran-man or trans-woman (whether or not such person has undergone sex reassignment surgery or hormone therapy or laser therapy), person with intrasex variations, genderqueer and person having such socio-cultural identities as Kinner, Hijra, Aravani and Jogta."

The defination of "Transgender persons" in the Bill is different from those recognised by international bodies and expert in India.

The Bill states that to be identified as Transgender person, a person must be:

  1. Neither wholly male nor female
  2. a combination of male or female
  3. Neither male nor female

However, the Bill does not specify if the terms "male" and "female" refer to biololgical sex or does it also focus on the psycological sense of gender. the failing to reflect the fundamental understanding of gender.
