Another meeting at the weekly entrepreneurs' meet was about to end. The task for the week was to find a one-word substitute for a group of words. I read and re-read the words "Bandra-Worli Sea Link, Car Tyre, Home Sweet Home, SIP, Indian Railways, Fashion, Disappearing Distances". While I was pondering over the words, I got a call from my mother.
Until last week, I had to leave the discussion room and pace towards the lobby to get a better network coverage. But, since the day I switched to Idea, I could take calls from anywhere. I picked up the call. As usual, she asked me to buy some milk and a box of Aluminium Foil from More. Apart from that, she had texted me a list of to-do items:
* Pick up the altered clothes from Pantaloons.
* Order 2 bags of UltraTech Cement for the renovation work.
* Pay the Birla insurance premium.
On my way back home, I turned on my radio. I was driving home through the newly built Bandra Worli Sea Link. The Radio Jockey was sharing how excited the people are as their commute time will reduce and use this to some other productive work. Then he started briefing about the Sea Link and its involved stakeholders.
Aditya Birla Group was on the list.
Suddenly I realized that those words relate to only one Word. ABG. Soon it occurred to me how the products of this organisation have become a part of my daily. And how it's quality products and services have improved the quality of my life.
Now I believe in what someone said once,
"It is the little things in life that make a big impact."
