Aditya Birla group, one of world’s premium global conglomerate has influenced the lives of every Indian in a multitude of areas. Starting from Fashion and Retail Limited to Infrastructure giant Ultratech Cement, Telecom sector as in Vodafone Idea Limited, Grasim, Hindalco, Life Insurance it has certainly haven’t kept any stone unturned in making a big impact to our life. The conglomerate has been constantly striving towards innovation thereby reaching millions globally and adding value and purpose in people life.
My experience with the Aditya Birla Group has been enthralling. Right from my childhood, I have been completely dependent on the conglomerate for almost all basic utilities. During my childhood, our house was rebuilt, and I could completely remember large chunks of Ultratech Cement coming into our house periodically. The very essence of Ultratech cement “Build Beautiful” shows the value it attaches to it. It is undoubtedly the market leader in this segment. I still remember “Freshwrap” aluminum foils that my mother used to use to pack my lunchbox throughout the school. It was the first item in our grocery shopping list whenever we used to go out for shopping. When I grew up and had my first mobile phone, I got myself an idea cellular connection and it’s 1no looking back till date. I have been still using the same number for the last 7 years without any glitches and regrets. My first business formal suit was a Peter England Black suit and I wore that suit in some of the most important interviews of my life including the one in Infosys where I ended up working for close to 3 years. It is these small memories that you carry for a lifetime and for me Aditya Birla group was a part of it. The most unique thing about Aditya Birla Group is the value that it associates with each product and it is that value that makes it a part of our day to day life. Even in the field of sustainability and education, the conglomerate is constantly making efforts to improve the development of economic and social communities that we operate in. The idea of recycling adopted by Hindalco truly illustrates the company’s vision for a better generation. Thus, Aditya Birla Group has been a constant motivation for me throughout my journey with the breath-taking innovation it makes.
Life is full of challenges, but the important aspect of life is how we overcome them and achieve our goals. One such challenge for me was to transform myself from a student to a professional who knows how to handle a corporate life. For me, it started way back in 2016 when I completed my engineering and was placed in Infosys. To confirm my candidature, I was supposed to clear the training program. The training program posed a lot of personal challenges like adjusting to a new environment, pressure of performance, vigorous training schedules involving lectures, continuous assignments, and assessments, managing work-life balance. Individually I felt being subjected to an alien competitive environment where I had to prove my worth to survive. The impact of this training in starting my professional career was immense. But I was determined and dedicated to my duties. I managed my time smartly and effectively. To ease off my journey I involved myself in leisure activities like playing table tennis, socializing with people, traveling. The most important traits I learned after this experience was the importance of perseverance, adaptability, and openness to change in shaping an individual. This experience proved to be a life changer for me and helped me to successfully transform myself into a professional who can carry out duties and responsibilities diligently in a way that
