We all have that one brand, that one company which we prefer over all others, have faith on and can identify with. For me, that’s Aditya Birla Group (ABG).
What I really find exciting about ABG is that it started in a small village in Rajasthan by venturing into cotton trading, and it has stood by all the winds and storms time have shown it for more than 150 years and expanded into many other verticals and even champed in them. This appeals to me so much because I can relate to the qualities of perseverance and strength ABG displays. I live my life by principles of discipline and strength of mind and body both. These enabled me to work in a competitive and fast environment, fight back with all the challenges my previous job threw at me, be it from doing a task that is completely new or handling ownership of complex modules. Overall, I had contributed to my team and my organization by taking initiatives in activities to complete challenging tasks at hand faster and more efficiently. And I realize now, that what matters most is excellence. Whatever one does, must be done at his/her best capability, as small excellences turn into huge successes. And this is what ABG personifies.
Everywhere we look, there is a part of ABG which touches our lives, and provides more comfort and luxury to us and our loved ones. From immense structures to microscopic elements, ABG is everywhere! It has made space for itself in almost all sectors and therefore, every person in our country has experienced ABG and welcomed its entrance into their lives with all their heart, including me. ABG has touched my life very deeply for it is one of the largest copper suppliers to the Indian railways. When I used to study in college which was in Allahabad, I had to travel once in every 3-4 months to my home in Noida, and the evolution of Indian railways, one of the reasons behind being ABG, has allowed me to keep close to my home and family. ABG Hindalco has a major role in the manufacturing of more coaches and engines in the railways and that’s how it has made a very large impact in the lives of all those who long for home, to help them reach home sooner and spend precious moments with their family. Also, my friends recognize me as a big-time shopaholic, and Pantaloons is always my first choice, more than half of my wardrobe is Pantaloons. And recently, when Forever 21 opened near my home, it wasn’t a surprise that I was almost always there when I shopped. And Van Heusen being my best choice after trying many brands for formal clothing for women, this and Allen Solly being some of the only brands having formal wear for women. The experience at these stores is astounding not just because of the variety and quality of the products but also because of the cooperative service and help of the store advisers and staff. This shows the commitment of ABG towards its customers and process that ABG is a company of values and integrity.
