Every day, a MBA student wakes up to conquer the world. Not thinking too much about the previous sleepless nights and pending assignments, they rise to make the most of every day. For SIBM Pune student, the energy to take on the world comes intrinsically because of the surroundings that we operate in. Waking up to the view of beautiful mountains of Lavale gives us the motivation to start the day. The mesmerizing view pushes us to get out of our room and be out there to grab on the opportunities. As the MBA journey demands, we always have to be on our toes and be surrounded with technology. Sometimes, there is so much to consume that our minds get bogged down. In such a situation, being out there on the roads of the campus and looking around at the beautiful view puts us at peace. The rivalry, anxiety, tension- every negative emotion disappears in a fraction of second. It’s hard to feel negative when you see yourself surrounded by misty clouds and green hills. And most importantly, being surrounded with nature makes one feel how small they are in the grand scheme of things.
It’s important to be constantly reminded of this perspective so that we understand how precious our life is. Being closer to nature provides one with a lot of learnings. And that’s what the USP of my campus is. It’s not just providing me with academic knowledge but also making me look at the bigger picture. In just a period of one month, the campus has made me understood that chaos is a part of life. I planned to do a lot of things when I entered this lovely place and thought that everything is going to fall into place seamlessly. Apparently nothing of that sorts happened. But at this moment, with laptop on my lap and watching light drizzling from my room, I know I’ll find a rainbow at the end of this chaos.
WHICH ABG COMPANY WOULD YOU WANT TO WORK FOR AND WHY?
Getting an opportunity to be associated with a Fortune 500 organization is a dream in itself. If I have to choose one ABG company that I wish to work for, it’s going to be- Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited. It’s important to work for an organization that one believes in. Being a millennial and having worked in a startup Industry, my thriving lies in working in an environment which promotes creativity through employee-friendliness and self-expression.
