SIBM Pune was the first college set up under Symbiosis Society in the year 1978 and since then it has been its flagship institute. One of the USPs of SIBM is that it lets its students decide on their specialization within the first 45 days of the college and then focuses on grooming them basis that.
In addition to the curriculum offered by the college, the designated, 9 student councils provide dynamic knowledge and information on the industries that are outside the textbooks. The senior mentoring program facilitates a rich knowledge shared between the students on industries, competitions and internships. The main events of the SIBM Pune calendar are Senate, Transcend, PRoelio, Encore, SPL etc. Apart from organizing events that attract students from across the country, the students of SIBM Pune have been actively participating in various corporate competitions like L’Oréal Brandstorm, Janssen’s Quest, Godrej LOUD , Mahindra Logiquest and many more. This showcases the effective application of classroom teaching to the real-world problems.

Which ABG company you want to work for and why?
I would like to work with ABG Fashion and Retail Limited. It’s important to have 360 degrees knowledge of the industry you work in. People contribute when they understand and can relate to an organisation, Having worked in IT sector with another retail giant, I already know the technical side of online retail. Now, with my recently acquired skills in management, I believe, I will be operating from the other side of the table and would be able to contribute in a broader way. Also, the company’s deep rooted values make me admire the culture and workspace.
