A Truly Unique Campus
Any Campus is more than just a place;
so to claim one is unique it must truly be an ace.
There is no doubt that I am blessed in this case,
for fortunately I find myself in just such a place.
Land, water and electricity; all self-sustained and rather well maintained.
Greenery abundant, any talk of wastage redundant.
Rivers harnessed, nature never harassed.
The birds sing a song of joy,
as they fly over people holding up umbrellas that keep them dry.
Classrooms with views that would envy resorts,
filled with students of all sorts;
the biologist would argue this is the best ecosystem and
the economist in my class would add that it is an ode to our financial system.
As the students stream out the lawyer stops me,
takes a look at my poem so far and contemplates if there should be
a patent filed for a campus so unique.
For this is such a campus that anyone who even just passes through,
would feel everything that’s been said is definitely true.
A truly unique campus this certainly is,
don’t believe me??
