This is a tough’ un. Not for lack of topics to cover regarding this , but rather the wealth of it . When I first read the news that I was to get into Symbiosis, my feelings were encapsulated in a cliched statement : “ No words to describe the joy that I felt”.
It had really been a long time since I was really happy, and this was a good time to be happy. The people who had joined college made Whatsapp groups and it was there where we first gelled.
But there was a whole new, fresh experience that awaited us.
The campus, perched on a hilltop really beckoned to us, and there’s no turning away from that once we have seen it for the first time. We’re left with no choice but the succumb to its lure, which doesn’t fail to take away our breath every day. It isn’t just the MBA batch that’s in the college. The hilltop plays host to other institutes such as one for Telecom Management and Media Communication. This, along with the pre-existing diversity of MBA students coming from varying backgrounds provides for a great value addition and reminds us that there is a lot that we need to take away from this place and that the opportunities never stop. Meeting new people and listening to new stories makes me feel that I’m right at home.
Rarely will you ever see a college made for a students, by the students. Well, it’s true! SIBM is highly student-driven, which translates to most of the activities , (well , except the exams of course) conducted by the students of the campus, which gives off a great vibe of inclusivity and ensures that our voice is heard .

I’d like to work for Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited. Under this company I’d like to work for the “ Planet Fashion” brand. Fashion is something I like to read about or see regularly, something I can easily relate to. Taking marketing, I like to look into the fashion industry a bit more, which gives me a good vantage point of
delving a bit deeper into what going into a consumer’s decision- making process. The above mentioned passion is something I’m trying to learn more about with
each passing day, and this job would see me putting this knowledge to great use.
