On 4th April 2018, when I got to know that I have made it to SIBM, Pune I thought that was the best day of my life, but I was proved wrong as soon as I stepped into this awesome hilltop campus at Lavale. Before coming to college as any prospective student would do, I researched about the college and every website which I would go the only thing which I could find was that “COLLEGE CAMPUS IS AMAZING”. After reading one after the other posts I became impatient and was eager to see if what everybody were saying was actually true.
Finally, the day had arrived, 2nd June, after I had completed my eligibility process when I came to the campus I was awestruck by the scenic beauty and the greenery surrounding the campus here. Just when I thought I had seen the most memorable sight, it started raining and it was a sight to behold. The clouds passing by and the rain pouring down, what a moment it was. If I had any apprehensions about coming to college and thinking about the environment here, everything disappeared because here nature and studies go hand in hand. Apart from learning from what is in the curriculum we can learn firsthand from nature because during the course of my life I have come to know that nature is the best teacher on can have. The campus also has a viewing spot known as “THE AQUA POINT”, from where we can see and enjoy the amazing climate and nature. As you walk from the college to the hostel, the cold air which blows across your face makes you forget all the tensions and problems that you might be facing and just enjoy the nature and the moment.
I would like to like to call our campus as “NATURE’S NEST” and for this very reason I think my campus is unique and no matter where one goes in this country, there won’t be a campus like mine.
Which ABG company would you want to work for and why?
I would love to pursue my career with Aditya Birla Capital Ltd. Being a finance student, I feel that I would like apply my learnings here and be productive for the company. By working with Aditya Birla group not only I would be honing my technical skills, also I would be inculcating all the values for which Aditya Birla Group stands for.
