A simple yet incomprehensible question that I seem to ask myself quite often only to leave me clouded. SIBM, Pune! Is it exaggerated? Overrated? Does it live up to its expectation as one among the best Business Schools in India? One may ask.
That, unfortunately is not what I will be answering for you today but I will tell you what distinguishes where I belong with all that I compete against.
A premiere B- School and a beautiful one? How many are there in this country? Even our fingers prove too many to accommodate the paltry number. However, rest assured SIBM, Pune is one of them. The Mesmerizing beauty of the hill top, can confirm that SIBM, Pune is the most scenic; homing a various species of wildlife. A completely brilliant feeling to have been seated in an assembly hall during the lecture and just to your right, is a large breezy window, which stares out into the valley, and the city of Pune, far amidst.
The institute believes in a student- driven culture and is not a lip service showcasing a fully student run institution with nine student councils along with 5 special interest groups enabling students to hold a greater responsibility and learn perfect management of resources. The campus and infrastructure, needless to say, are a state of art.
Best faculties handpicked are then backed up by a huge alumni base thus comprising of corporate speakers who share their experience and learning from the business world. Bollywood seems to love our campus- we often have shoots and promotional events.
Vision: To develop cutting edge research which leads debate and deepens students understand of business and management practices, and so on? Well a BIT different, it’s really simple. We vision the ‘Promotion of International understanding through quality education’.
Just a month down the line, lots of mixed experiences made me realize the tag ‘SIBM,Pune’ is not one which has been positioned on a whim. The brand of SIBM, Pune is just the beginning of what separates this Institute with the rest. The word Symbiosis in itself; refers to an evolved interaction between different species allowing mutual benefit of both entities, defines the sole existence of this Institution.
For that individual who are a part and have graduated from this esteemed Institute, tell me whether you are not proud to be part of such a huge family? This devotion is one among the various specialties that defines my Institute. Being in no position to comment about other campus, I speak but to the only environment has allowed me to grow exponentially as a professional and as an individual. Taught me to break barriers, broken me down to my bones only to teach me the right way back up.
I admire my institute, proudly brand myself as a family of Symbiosis.

Given the strong standing of the ABFL in financial service, the company lies among the top 5 fund managers in India with interests in life insurance, asset management, equity, etc falling under one of the largest financial service player in India. I see myself as a good fit in the company sharing the vision of being a role model in a broad-based and integrated financial services business and I believe the company would provide me the ideal opportunity to grow as a professional and follow my passion towards finance.
