Making my dad smile

So this was when I was back in 2016 when I was in my second year of engineering. I got an opportunity to do a small gig with QS world rankings. They were conducting an event in Delhi at Le Meridian and my job was to sit at the registration desk for two days. I was getting paid 2000 rupees for this. I could not ask for more. I thought about all the pizza I am going to eat and the movies I am going to watch. After I was done with the job I got my money. While going back I thought that since it was practically my first earning ever I should buy my father something. I thought about buying a shirt. So I went to Cannaught place and started looking for shirts. After looking for a while and not finding anything worth my money I went to the most dependable men clothing brand I knew, Peter England. In about 10 minutes I found a shirt that I liked, for a price that was too good to be true. I bought the shirt and took it home. My father does not smile very often, not because of some deep emotional trouble, simply because not many things impress him.

As soon as I gave that shirt to him and told him I had bought it for him, he smiled and THAT was more than I could ask for. It was a big deal for me then and it still is today.

The hero of the story is obviously not me but Peter England. Which by extension means that Aditya Birla Group played a huge role in making my dad smile that day. He was happy and so was I because I got a great deal and I did get my hands on some pizza later. I finally have an opportunity to thank ABGLP and I simply want to say, thank you for making it happen.
