Why Aditya Birla is big in my life-
Aditya Birla Group- The business umpire was started by a small cotton trader Shiv Narayan Birla way back in 1860’s now the Birla group has transformed into multiple companies located in over 35 plus countries with more than 1,20,000 employees worldwide than multinational companies like Apple, Johnson and Johnson, and airbus.
Aditya Birla group has been with me since my childhood. Whenever this name falls on my year it a nostalgia moment for me, in my school days my day used to start with taking my lunch box to school wrapped in Freshwrapp foils, there have been many instances in which shopkeeper gave me a different brand, and my mother specifically asked for Freshwrapp such was the belief on quality.
Aditya Birla has always kept my back. The first sim which I brought in my life was idea being away from home it has kept me in touch with my loved ones, Idea’s super fast net has always assured that I complete all my tasks on time.
As a young boy I have always had an inclination towards fashion and coming from a small place I did not understand the concept of brand, I can vaguely remember my first visit to the mall and my eyes popped out drooling over the best-of collections, and I proudly say that ‘Allen Solly’ was my first ever branded shirt.
It truly believes in giving back to society and thus has immense respect and holds a special place in my heart. Novelis Inc. recycles more than 65 billion used beverage cans each year, turning them back into new beverage cans in roughly 60 days. It has created the first and largest closed-loop recycling systems in the world.
How I overcame challenges in my life?
Every day I try to to be more efficient and be the better version of myself, it has come a hard way but “ working towards my goal without thinking of results” has been the mantra in my life as Jack ma says” Never give up. Today is hard; tomorrow will be worse, but the day after tomorrow you will be sunshine.”
I was very good at school and scored very good grades in my boards, sailing on the good grades in 10th class; I set my life goal to take admission into an IIT and joined an IIT coaching far from home. First time living away from home and I cried a lot and always aspired to go back home, but my parents always gave me strength.
First-Year passed by, in the 12th standard I saw my grades dipping and performance lowering, being low on confidence scored too low in my JEE mains than expectations and my self- confidence was all shattered, I felt very bad that I wasted my parent's hard-earned money. I was sure that I would make a turnaround and score well in engineering Coming to an engineering college I realized that I had and was facing anxiety issues in situations such as writing my college exams which started affecting my academics. Soon I started to realize that this was not only limited to my academics and had started to hamper my ability to gel up with my colleagues. I tried some meditation techniques, but I couldn’t see much change in myself. I thought something on my own and started inculcating those habits in me.
In the Third year a new mature version of me grew, and since then there was no looking back I improved my grades consistently and decided to take CAT, and this helped me gain admission in one of the premier B-School in the country NITIE, Mumbai famously known as ‘Mecca of operations.’
