My Freshwrapp Story| Neha Sharma,IIFT

The next day in the school when I unboxed my lunch, the parathas were packed in aluminum foil. It was a moment of eureka for me when I unwrapped my parathas and a smile of proud and happiness came on my face, and why not? I had one of the most prized possession with me.

I returned back to the home and hugged my mom. I asked her how she knew I wanted my food to be wrapped in freshwrapp. She answered I never realized the food I made for you turns tasteless and moist within 2-3 hours and therefore I brought freshwrapp which will keep your lunch fresh and aromatic.

This is my memory attached to the Aditya Birla Group and today also whenever I pack my food in freshwrapp it reminds me of my childhood experience and brings a smile on me.

Challenges overcame to achieve my ambition in life

It was summers of 2018, I went on a trip to Shimla Kufri along with my friends. The whole trip was enjoyable until my leg slipped and I fell down from a mountain. I suffered a coccyx fracture because of which I was unable to sit for long hours. My doctor advised me to have 6 months of complete bed rest. It was a life turning moment for me because I just started with my first job and was busy learning and exploring the new industry. The sad part was I had to leave my job and come back to my home town. Since MBA was a dream but I was yet to start my preparation for the entrance exam and my injury made it difficult for me to sit. But soon I learned I cannot let physical pain hinder my success and nothing can stop me working hard towards my aim.

Along with my medicines and meditation, I started some regular exercise to get rid of my pain. It made me stronger and soon I realized everything is in the brain, it is your attitude towards things that matter. I prepared for IIFT entrance in the last two months and was able to crack it. Getting into the top 10 B-schools of India was one of the aims of my life and I have achieved it now.

I learned nothing can stop you from achieving your goals if you are honest and determined about it. Challenges do come in everyone’s life but how we overcome it is what matters the most.
