Part A:

At first, I was unaware of the many brands that are owned by Aditya Birla Group. Now that I searched and found out about those, I realised that I have been using ABG products since a long time. The major part of the involvement of all the products of ABG has been by Idea sim card. There hardly any place where I could not get the network for idea. I was first an Airtel user, but later I ported the sim card to Idea for better internet connection. I was very much satisfied with the quality of internet connectivity Idea has.

Apart from this, I use many fashion brands owned by ABG. My most favourite is 'Louis Philippe'. It has the apt style, texture and design that I seek in a cloth. It feels complete with this clothing. I think it is a best clothing brand in this price segment. For the formal wear, Peter England is a popular brand. My father wears Peter England since his time. Now that I also have started to use formal clothes, I too prefer Peter England I also used hoodies and casual wears of Allen Solly brand and those were very comfortable. Whenever I plan to buy any new clothing, I think of these brands only as I have got used to these.

Coming to think of other products of ABG, we built a new home few years back. We used the 'Birla Shakti Cement' in it. So coming to think of all this, I realise, ABG has been a big thing in my life and will stay so too.

Part B:

I had started to prepare for CAT 2017. I tried to complete the preparation, but during exam, I got admitted to hospital. I was suffering from dengue. It was pretty severe. I was told to take bed rest for 15 days. I was at home town the whole time. I could not study in the last days. I still managed to attend the exam. I managed to get 85%le. I, could not get any calls from any IIMs or any big institutions that year. I was not satisfied with the results. I decided to change everything. I changed the city, went away from my friends and family. I wanted no distractions. I needed to get out of my comfort zone. SO I chose Mumbai to go to. I settled there on my behalf there. There was no one I knew. I joined a coaching there after my research. I studied for the whole year there. I wrote CAT and SNAP. I got 99.36 in snap and 91.88 in CAT. During the GD and interview process, I had to face a problem in my personal life. It was a bit hard to get over that problem immediately and clear all the GDPI rounds. I was continuously failing in the GDPI rounds. But with guidance of the mentors and my determination, I was able to crack 2 colleges' admission processes. I got admitted in GIM after that. I feel proud and happy of myself.

I knew that to achieve great things in life, you need to get out of your comfort zone. Because that's where the rewards are waiting for you. I learned to take risks and grab the opportunities at your doorstep. I learned the importance of being ready always for the challenges standing in front of you.
