“Taking India to the world “, if any organisation has lived up to its words, it is none other than the Aditya Birla Group, spanning across 34 countries, Aditya Birla Group is anchored by a strong force of over 120,000 employees, belonging to 42 nationalities. Strolling down the lanes of childhood to the ripe age of 22, Aditya Birla Group has always made its presence felt in the vicinity, be it the IDEA VODAFONE cellular sim we used in our first mobile phones to ULTRATECH cement which is used as the building block of majority Indian houses.

Being from GENZ, the fashion range that ABG brings to the youth of the nation is also one of the primary reasons why I could connect with the group. Bringing brands like FOREVER 21 to the country has helped us bring out the fashionista inside us and endorse a feel-good factor in ourselves, the wide range of products at display at a FOREVER 21 store just fills me with awe.

Aditya Birla Group has always been promoting local Indian brands and has always been supporting them by taking many such brands under the ABG umbrella, one such example can be seen through pantaloons(ABFRL) which endorses many in house indigenous brands like Alto Moda, SF Jeans, Byford, Poppers and Chirpie Pie.

The journey from a boy to a man could not have been complete without ABFRL (ADITYA BIRLA FASHION AND RETAIL LIMITED), using ALLEN SOLLY SPORTS wear in my adolescence to products like LOUIS PHILLIPE AND VAN HEUSEN to get into the grooves of adulthood.

Being from a family full of civil engineers my father has always said that cement is the building block of a strong infrastructure project and upholding his principles I have found that there is nothing better than ULTRATECH CEMENT, rightly known as the ‘ENGINEEER’S CHOICE’.

A single child to my parents , I was always brought up in a protective atmosphere due to which I was not very open and upfront  and had a tinge of shyness in my personality , my parents always had a transferable job which made them shift cities so I was unable to make friends easily , all of this changed when we shifted to Noida which came as a culture shock to me , due to my lack of openness and not being able to mingle with people easily I felt alienated and people already had groups , things took a turn for the worse and I was unable to participate in class discussions and was also bullied at times by some of my classmates , this shattered my confidence and my sense of inner self esteem but I was not to give up , I decided it was time for me to introspect and I decided to seek some help from my mother who is also a student counselor , she helped me inculcate some changes in my personality which has helped me in the journey of life so far , not only did I make friends with the people who once alienated me but also excelled at my school , I was awarded the scholar badge for 3 consecutive years for my excellent academic performance , won various extempore and inter school debate competitions and was a part of the student council as the House Captain . This episode of life taught me a valuable lesson that we can achieve whatever we want if we have the right frame of attitude, the right guidance and a zeal to improvise and adapt.
