How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far
Each and every one of us go through so many challenges in life. It all depends on how you face them and how tall you stand at the end of it. I was fortunate enough to get all that I needed in my younger days. Also, being a fresher, I have not yet faced any challenges at work. But one year that was very demanding was when I was preparing for my MBA entrance exams.
It was the final year of my graduation, which means the grades are all the more important; there are tons of assignments and projects to be done, and so on. On top of that, I had recently shifted to a new locality, meaning I had to travel a lot to and from college. During this time, I also decided to enrol for CAT coaching classes. With everything happening together, I had literally no time to breathe. It was imperative for me to do well on all fronts.
There was only one option: forget everything and work hard. I couldn’t meet my friends a lot, did not spend time with family a lot, didn’t do anything. The two things that helped me overcome this year were my dedication and football. Watching Liverpool play football was the only thing I was able to do throughout this stressful year. In the end, after hours and hours of perseverance and hard work, I nailed my projects, board exams and of course, the entrance exams as well.
I got into NMIMS, Mumbai. I started my MBA. The challenge was cruel. I made the decision to fight it. It paid off massively!
Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life
Aditya Birla Group has spread itself successfully into so many industries and geographies that each and every person is bound to be impacted by their activities and huge variety of products. Be it telecom, finance, retail and so on, ABG strongly touches the lives of crores of people. In the same way, my life has also been improved by ABG. The very basis of our connectivity with everyone around us, my mobile phone is powered by the network of Vodafone-Idea. My daily activities on my phone such as checking emails, communicating, etc. are all possible because of the seamless connectivity of this network. Pantaloons is one of my favourite places to go and shop because of the wide range of products that are available there. I go there with my family or friends many times during the year.
In addition to this, I also wear brands like Allen Solly and Ralph Lauren very often. Every day the lunch I eat is packed using Freshwrapp aluminium foil. It ensures the food stays warm and fresh. So much of the infrastructure in my city and in the country is made using the Engineer’s Choice, that is, Ultratech Cement. Just going over any bridge or any other road also involves being impacted by ABG.
Like this, there are countless other examples to highlight how Aditya Birla Group has its presence in my life. Not just my life, but also the lives of individuals and families located in every nook and corner of the vast subcontinent of India.
