The year was 2014 , It was my first first Durga puja that I was going to celebrate without my family . Being thousands of kilometers away , my family was very emotional and nostalgic thinking about their elder son who was in his college hostel , completing his assignments and not being able to welcome Maa Durga with the family.

On this side , I sat by the window of my room and looked at the families outside , getting dressed in their festive attire to attend the Maha sashti cultural event in the locality. The screen of my mobile lit up , and my eyes were stuck to the screen which flashed a message from the courier guy that a parcel for me is waiting at the reception .

The next moment , I was like a flying horse rushing for the reception with joy . My eyes lit up after watching the parcel , as I was sure I got clothes as gifts from parents . Back in my room, I teared open the box to find tshirts, shirts , a trouser and a jeans all from PETER ENGLAND , the clothing brand which was introduced to me by my father when I bought my first blazer in school. The emotion connected with that brand made my eyes moist with a big smile on my face. Aditya Birla group really saved the puja for this aspiring engineer back then.

PART B : Ice breaking mime act

When I joined Sibm-b , I was really confused about the clubs that I wanted to join as the college had a plethora of options waiting for us. I finally decided to audition for JZAA , the dramatics club of our college . Eventually after a brainstorming session with random people , we came up with a nukkad natak which was very challenging as I had zero knowledge about that thing . I was really glad when I got selected , but wait I got a shock when I realised that I was selected for the mime act. I accepted my destiny and went for the practice , but soon realised that I suck at that as mime needs someone with open powerful expressions . My friends were unable to help me to get in flow with the act as they were also new to this . Eventually managing the assignments , mock pi , meeting and guest session with classes became tough for me and over that 4 hours of mime practice became even terrible. It was then when my seniors noticed me becoming a bombshell in distress and helped my out personally , and even I gave my best to respond to their suggestions.
