Part A : Why Aditya Birla Group is big in your life ?
I feel excited and pleased to have an opportunity to pen my thoughts towards an eminent personality and the revolution his company has created . Mr. Aditya Birla was just 24 when he dared to dream of setting up a global business empire. He was the first to put Indian business on the world map long before globalisation became a buzzword in India . Aditya Birla Group is distinct from every other company because of the value it delivers in everyone’s life . I would go an extra mile in saying that they engage with everyone in the world in some way or the other helping the community in every aspect of their life .There hasn’t been a day when I wouldn’t have used and instilled the feeling of an Aditya Birla Group product in my life . Whenever I am away from my home , It gives me the confidence that my family members are safe , thanks for the shelter , thanks to UltraTech cement which not only me but touched millions of people and is the go-to brand . I could’nt imagine a life when I am not connected with people at anytime. I had a work life where I used to travel to remote locations where the network is so weak . But Aditya Birla has also taken care of that . The company vibrates in the hearts of many through their CSR activities also reaching out to 75 lakh people globally and investing a dedicated fund of 500 crores. Having experienced the impact it has created , I couldn’t imagine a world without them !
Part B: How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far ?
Everybody in their life has faced a challenge, whether it is a big challenge or a small one you still have to work hard in order to overcome it. Not all challenges are bad, you can learn a lot about yourself during challenging times.Sometimes you are not able to overcome a challenge but thats okay because you can still find the good out of it and find a way to overcome it next time. I have faced many challenges but one that really taught me a lot was moving to a new school.I begged my parents not to move because I knew if I moved I would have to get a whole new group of friends and start all over. It sucked even more that it was going into 7th grade and everybody already had friends and I would have had no friends. I would have had to make all new friends which was tough for me because I was shy back then and was the type of person who waited for someone else to talk and not the person who just talked to everybody. I also found it tough to make new friends because people saw me as the new kid and thought I was different so they didn’t talk to me. I also didn’t want to talk to other people because I didn’t want to say something stupid in front of them and then they find me weird or stupid. Also I didn’t know who had the same interests as me and I didn’t want to be that guy in the group who doesn’t know what anybody is talking about.Lunch was the worst for me when I first moved because everybody already knew who they wanted to sit by so I always ended up sitting with the random people who everybody thought were weird. It was hard for me to accept this change because I use to have so many friends, but in just one year I had almost none. I felt like blaming my parents because they didn’t have to move, they could have stayed in the same house, then everything would have been the same I would have been more happy and I definitely would have had a lot more friends. But as I found out a few years down the road moving was one of the best things to ever happen to me. This has helped me learn to adapt to whatever life throws at me . This helped me believe , that whatever I deal with is an opportunity to achieve big in life . This is something that I carry on throughout my life.
