Perseverance in a Challenging Situation- Akanksha,SIBM Bangalore

One of the challenges that I faced after my graduation is to decide whether to go for a job or to join a b- school.So I compared pros and cons of both the options and came to the conclusion  that I will join a b-school but then when i gave the first attempt for my MBA exams. I gave around 8-9 exams but still could not qualify even one. I was not able to get any decent college that year. So, I did not lose hope and gave up my dream of being in a good b-school. So, I decided to try once again, I prepared for a whole year, day and night with my full dedication. Every day I had this hope that one day,I will do MBA from  good b-school. This time taught me a lot of things, to be patient, perseverant and keep believing in my dreams and trying no matter how much hard it gets, no matter how much  time your dreams are taking to get converted into reality. Because at the end of the day, hardwork does pay off. And in my case, I got SIBM-Bangalore, a prestigious college where I will get ample amount of opportunities and get a chance to enhance my skills and develop my overall personality. And now, being a part of this college, I feel proud and I think that all my hardwork has proved to be fruitful. So, this idea has ingrained in me which will help me to face and overcome the future challenges also.
