I was travelling on a flight to Lucknow, in a hurry to get back home as soon as I can. After all, I had not met my mother nor my sister ever since I left home 3 months back, to settle in Bangalore. Since it was a three hour long flight, I decided to take a nap, while listening to my favorite music. Plugging in my earphones, I managed to grab the in-flight magazine of Indigo. And then, few things struck me. I saw an advertisement of Grasim suitings on the front page, and I realized that the blazer which my body was covered with was of the same brand. The luggage which by now would have been moving swiftly among its' kind also contains suitings from Grasim. It made me realize the ambition of one person who made it all possible. It made me realize that today, we are covered with Aditya Birla Group - from Srinagar to Rameshwaram, and from Atari to Tripura. In India, it has made a Golden Quadrilateral out of its' name.
Today, anything upon which we can manage to grab our hands on, is linked to Aditya Birla Group in some way or the other.
1857 - When India was trying its' first hand at attaining Independence, there was one man, Seth Shiv Narayan Birla, who had created and designed a dream for the nation, to be known by a single brand. Today, when he would notice kids talking on the phone through Idea Cellular, or people flocking to Grasim showrooms and retail outlets to dress themselves up for the wedding ceremonies, and when he will find contractors bringing in huge stocks of Ultratech Cement to build their homes with, he will probably be happy, and content that his dream has been followed by his companions of this world.
"My World, My Way" denotes the world in the way we want. It is for this reason that Aditya Birla Group is so big in our respective lives. Wherever we go and wherever we travel, in some way or the other, we are thrown into a situation where we saved by products of Aditya Birla Group. It is our saviour, it is our life.
I had decided on taking that nap and I found myself thinking about what would have happened if there wouldn't have been an Aditya Birla Group to help us in any aspect. This is what a saviour does in our lives.
