What does a tier 2 B school provides?
1. Curriculum
Generally, a tier 2 B school will provide you with a good rigorous curriculum that will help you to gain knowledge and skills across various domains like finance, marketing, HR, etc. It will help you in understanding real life business situations and how to act on them.
2. Networking and exposure
You'll be provided with good networking opportunities among diverse peer groups coming from different backgrounds. You may also gain industry exposure through seminars, workshop, events organised by the colleges.
3. Brand Value
The brand value such colleges provide is limited and not at par with what tier 1 colleges provide. It's recognised mostly at a national level. However it may have a strong regional presence.
4. Placements
Mid sized firms, startups and some well known companies visit the campus for placements. The roles and packages offered are not as lucrative as tier 1 colleges.
5. Infrastructure and campus life
Tier 2 colleges generally have well equipped infrastructure and provides all basic and necessary facilities. These campuses have active clubs and societies which helps in your growth and development.

A tier 2 B school offers a good learning experience with decent networking and placement opportunities but also a limited brand value.
