To help the students get a clear perspective about the specialization of their choice, SIBM Pune invites its illustrious alumni for specialization-specific sessions which in turn act as guiding pillar for the young minds.
The major USP of SIBM is that it is a student driven institute wherein everything right from admissions to corporate connections to placements is handled by students. To facilitate all of this there are 9 councils and 5 special interest groups that work day and night. The student driven culture inculcate in students Leadership and Team Building Qualities. To further facilitate the learning SIBM Pune has excellent full-time faculty and numerous visiting faculty members from the corporate and industry.

Which ABG company would I want to work for and why?
Having done my internship with Future Retail, I got an insight into the principles of marketing, retail buying and merchandising. I got an overview of visual merchandising and customer relationship management. The learning gained during the internship inculcated in me the bug of curiosity to learn more about the intricacies of retail industry in general and about sales & marketing and consumer behavior in particular. And here I’m today, pursuing MBA Marketing at SIBM Pune, one of the premier B-Schools of India.
When we were told to write about the Aditya Birla Company we would want to work for, my brain already had the answer. I’ve been a great admirer of all the brands under Aditya Birla Company and have a particular inclination towards Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly, Peter England and Forever 21. All these brands have forever been preferred and cherished by me. Given an opportunity to work for the Aditya Birla Company I would love to bring on table the learning I had gained during my internship and at the same time learn more about the company. Aditya Birla Company has always done a great job with merchandising and I’d love to get the chance to work for a company that I believe in.
