I predominantly hail from Delhi, where my schooling and graduation happened. Being brought up in a bursting metropolitan city, I have always experienced life in concrete jungles. A fast-paced life where air-conditioners are ubiquitous, vehicular pollution is a daily ingredient of our breath, and unfortunately, nature is amiss.
On 7th February 2018, I visited the Symbiosis Lavale campus for my interview selection process. It was early morning when I boarded the university bus to reach the campus. Although, not at a great elevation from the plain area and near to the main city, the campus grasped my attention almost immediately. I stayed in the campus for a brief period of 4-5 hours where I could get a glimpse of what life is all about here. I craved to live the next two years at this hill top, such was the mesmerising beauty of this campus. Fortunately, my desire was granted by the almighty when the admission list came out and I was more than happy.
It’s been a month on this hill top and it never stops to take my breath away whenever I visit the beautiful places here - The view from Aqua Point, The Amphitheatre with 24*7 gentle breeze of fresh air that soothes the soul, the fresh air I inhale from my hostel room balcony actuates my senses every time I lack energy.
But this is not all. There is one thing here that changes the game multiple times in a day – The Monsoon!
You wake up in the morning and find it raining outside which is in itself a motivation to complete the assignments working from your balcony. Nevertheless, rules mandate us to attend classes and going to the academic block is again a challenge in the rains. Despite these rains, I dare to attend sessions leaving my heart asking for more of nature and fresh air this weather has to offer. Mountains, fresh air and living in nature is what I have craved for all my life.
My passion, to travel has always revolved around nature. I plan trekking expeditions to unexplored and offbeat places where nature is at its full potential. After joining SIBM Pune and witnessing the natural life it has to offer, I can irrefutably say that this will be my longest expedition in the lap of nature.

Which ABG company would I want to work with?
My preference would be to be associated with the Aditya Birla Retail Ltd. where I would work for the MORE STORE RETAIL CHAIN. The marketing concepts SIBM Pune has taught me and the groundwork I have done for student council makes me easily adapt to the business requirements of MORE STORE. Also, the retail business and especially FMCG category intrigues me the most and hence, I have prepared myself for the challenges I will have to overcome.
