Ans: I have worked with Deloitte for 2.5 years.
F1: Can you tell me about your work at Deloitte?
Ans: I talked about my work starting from my L1 position in the SOC team and then explained the work of the SOC team and then explained my current role as Threat Hunting and L2 analyst.
F1: Do you provide the services to multiple clients or the House Deloitte SOC team?
Ans: I am part of the team which provides cyber services to a single client.
F1: What is the industry of the client?
Ans: Answered.

F1: Is there a difference between L1 and L2 analysts? If there is, can you elaborate?
Ans: Talked about how L2 analysts guide the L1 and provide them with insights to progress the investigation. Also mentioned is the difference in access.
F1: So, as you worked through the transition from pre-pandemic times to the current scenario. Did you see any difference or change in workload?
Ans: Talked about how the workload was before everything moved digital and how the change in times has made almost every organization susceptible to cyber threats along with reasons. I also threw in the experience of Apache Log4j and some specific stats about India.
F1: What are the different tools that you use in your day to day work and why?
Ans: Started with Splunk, a SIEM tool. Talked about Symantec Endpoint Protection, Windows Defender, O365 ATP. etc and their respective usage.
F1: So, after working with Deloitte, why do you want to do an MBA?
Ans: Went ahead with the rehearsed answer. The panellist was surprised when I said that I wanted to start my venture around my hobbies of Cooking and Fitness.
M1: So you work in the Cyber/IT sort of role, you might have heard about a ransomware attack on a leading American firm that performs Oil transport?
Ans: I am sorry, I can’t recall this one. That could be because we have encountered so many attacks that I have trouble pinpointing them to one name. (I thought I got a little cocky here, but they let it go).
M1: Have you heard about Pegasus?
Ans: Explained everything from the origin to the controversy surrounding it.
M1: I can see that there is a gap year after 12th, then you did Mechanical Engineering, and after that, you joined Deloitte for Cyber Security offering. I don’t see any consistency?
F1(Pitching in): He is also planning to start his venture; it doesn’t seem you are firm on one pathway. Can you talk about it and give reasons for the same.
Ans: I talked about my reasoning for taking a drop after 12th, for selecting mechanical engineering, for selecting Cyber security and then linked my long term goal with cyber security stating that in today's world everything is moving online from cloud kitchens to cloud gaming and as these things move online the importance of cyber security is going to increase manifold. I backed this with one example. I ended by saying that my work experience at Deloitte will help me acknowledge this when I start my venture.
M2: So, Suppose you don’t get admission into an MBA college this year, then what is your plan B?
Ans: I talked about how I would look to switch projects at work and move to a new domain to explore new areas and come again for CAT next year.

M2 explained to us the case of Adar Poonawala’s father tweeting about keeping 60,000 vaccines aside for the Parsi community. We were asked if this was ethical or unethical.
There were 4 candidates. All of us gave our initial stand and the reason behind it. M2 kept on giving counter-arguments and adding information to the case like SII has fulfilled all the obligations and then they are keeping 60,00 aside. This continued for around 20 minutes.
