- Most Operations specialization students tend to prefer FMCG and Ecommerce companies. In the 2022, 2021 and 2020 placements process, at least 45% and up to 51% of the Operations and Supply Chain batches were placed with these companies.
- In 2022, 30% of the IM batch received PM roles. This figure stood at 40% in 2020, making Product Management one of the more sought-after domains on campus.
So, what kind of salaries do these domains offer? On average, Consulting pays an average salary ranging between 22 and 31 lakhs, as per data over the past three years.
Operations/Logistics/Supply Chain profiles tend to be amongst the top-paying profiles on campus each year, offering average salaries in the 20 to 36 lakhs range as per three-year data.
Domain-wise, one of the biggest leaps in salaries over three years has been for Operations/Logistics/Supply Chain profiles (73%). Finance salaries have gone up 1.5x, as have IT salaries.
Growth in General Management salaries has been notable but slower than other domains, seeing a three-year increase of 20% between 2022 and 2020.
