Not everyone's decision to do an MBA comes after finishing their graduation program. A lot of students pursue their other interests, take up a job or start their own business. While they would definitely add to the diversity of the classroom, they're often questioned about their intent to pursue an MBA after working at a company or pursuing their startup idea.
One such aspirant was Sailesh Hota. Sailesh was an engineer by formal education but had quit his engineering job to be a stand-up comedian. He managed to crack his XLRI interview and joined the institute's PGDM 2018-2020 batch.
