Each and every one of us faces challenges right from the point when we are born in this world. The fight for survival is something that helps us all to push ourselves to overcome our fears. Let me tell you the story of my survival to be what I am today. Since the very beginning of my life my parents dreamed of their son to be an IIT student and excel in this world as an engineer. Well this is something many of the people of my generation might have gone through. And hence majority of us are engineers today.

I graduated from a reputed college as a mechanical engineer and even got into on the best companies that one could hope for in a mechanical industry. But soon I realized that my strength was not being able to build something for the future but to be able to perceive the needs and necessities of a sustainable future.

But as a mechanical engineer I was at the best place I could be, both career wise and in terms of financial health. These securities in my life were holding me back and were forcing me to question my strengths.

And I almost gave into these securities until one day I felt I have stopped growing anymore and have lost the will to better myself each and every day, a quality that I inculcated since my very childhood. Then I decided to walk out of my comfort zone and focus on my strengths. Against the wish and advise of all those who were close to me I decided to quit. This helped me to utilize my strengths to best of my potential as I had nothing to lose and it paved my way towards being a part of a leading B-school of our country. I overcame the challenge of acceptance to my own self to what I actually am and it gave me clarity on what I want to do in my life.
