I have been able to develop competencies such as acting with integrity, being committed to my goals, delivering what is expected of me with enthusiasm and passion and completing tasks within time constraints. Every product of Aditya Birla Group that I’ve exchanged in my family as a gift has had a memory attached with itself. I still remember the Peter England shirt that I got from my father as a gift when I converted Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies. Be it Raksha Bandhan, Diwali or Holi, I always have something from Forever21 to give to my sister. I still remember the shopping memories with my family. Each member of the family looked out for different products from different brands. It was so difficult to find everything under one roof before Pantaloons entered into the Indian market. It was our go-to place for shopping and served the needs of each family member in a beautiful way. Aditya Birla group as a conglomerate group has delivered excellence through its products and services in the Indian market. And on a personal level my experience with Aditya Birla group has been one which cannot be expressed but only be felt.
An 18-year old was busy exploring college life when the fear of social acceptance hit him. Being with the brightest minds and competing therewith was a nightmare. Social anxiety was at an all time high. Life was hitting unexpected lows and the graph of motivation was at a constant decline. Everything was grey and dull. Meeting the societal expectations and the fear of being judged was taking control of his confidence and self-esteem. He knew he needed help but the fear to express didn’t let him. He required someone to make him realize his true potential. His sister had always been his guide. With utmost elegance, she made him realize how important it is to love oneself and no matter what, he will always be loved. Soon, he realized what an erroneous mistake he had committed. He realized he didn't need people who aren't capable to understand his worth. He started working towards his ambitions, burning the midnight oil. Though, he fought with utmost dedication, the fear returned again and again. The initial few days were difficult. But the person stood firm on his decision and ambitions. Ultimately, the fear had to bow down to his perseverance and utmost dedication. Today, what others say has no impact on him. He is engaged in achieving what he had aspired all through his childhood. He knows he's doing well and will keep striving for better. He has matured as an individual. His definition of success has definitely changed. He now moves on ahead in his life ready to take on challenges of the corporate world with optimism and vigour.
