The Evolution - Aditya Birla Group And Me

My ambition is to be a great business leader. I  started learning about business early and understood how dynamic and volatile the business environment is in today's day and age of disruption.

Clearing entrance exams and taking admission into a  class MBA program was a challenge. After doing well in exams I secured a  good college for my post-graduate studies.

Now I want to learn all that I can learn in theory and practice and build a solid foundation in my life and career.

Why is Aditya Birla Group big in my life?

Aditya Birla Group is big in my life because it creates immense value in my lifestyle, be it in fashion, telecom, infrastructure, financial services, metals, chemicals, fertilizers, IT services, etc. Aditya Birla Group has its impact in every sphere of life not just in India but across the world.

The group has 162 years of rich history where it has evolved over the years and has witnessed the re-development of India from British rule to becoming a future superpower. The group represents Indian cultures across the world through its operations in 35 countries.

The fashion sector of ABG is the most appealing to our generation. I am a huge fan of Louis Phillippe and purchase LP garments every season. Pantaloons, Van Heusen, Allen Solly and Peter England are other household names in my family. Planet Fashion is another great stop for an all-purpose and a variety-driven family shopping for garments.

Ultratech Cement is the country’s largest cement manufacturer and it plays a huge role in building a mazboot and beautiful infrastructure around us. Having been an old customer of Vodafone-Idea I understand how the company focuses on delivering value and addressing customer grievances. Marketing campaigns of Idea have been one of the best and also carry a social message with it.

The finance wing of the ABG caters to the financial needs of a large number of people and helps in the smooth functioning of society and business.

The operations of Hindalco, Grasim and other units facilitate better trade and commerce in the country and add to the GDP figures immensely. Excellent export potential is developed by the group which makes India stronger within.

The best part about the garments-to-cement conglomerate is the CSR Activities. Social disposition is rooted within the culture of the organization and it is witnessed in the social outlook they possess. The important one is the step towards a sustainable world. Eco-friendly measures are taken by the group to ensure minimum disadvantage to the generations to come.

Excellent CSR work is being done to touch the lives of over 7 million people across sectors of healthcare, education, the standard of living, etc. So, yes, ABG's presence in my life is massive and will be even more in times to come.
