Coming from the land of the Tata’s we can’t help but notice the other conglomerates on the scale that Tata exists in our lives. It would pop up in the discussions about philanthropy and employee satisfaction in school classrooms and social groups. My first encounter with a product from Aditya Birla Group was with Freshwrapp (brand of aluminium foils) that they provide for food packaging. I could feel the warmth of my mother’s chapatis hours after they were prepared. As a kid, I would refer to the foil as Freshwrapp itself not realizing it was the name of the brand. Such was the effect of this product.

I received my first mobile phone after I had passed my tenth standard exams with flying colours. My parents gifted it to me and I wanted to go for an Idea sim considering its latest advertisement. The tagline- “Walk and Talk” appealed to me the most.

Moving to college, when it came to buying quality affordable clothes, Pantaloons saved my day. I remember buying my first one piece from the store and how satisfied the small-town girl inside me was with the fit and quality of the product. Aspiring to look like a corporate professional I decided to buy myself a suit and there are no guesses to the place where I found an affordable blazer which served my purpose- Van Heusen. They had a size that fit the skinny me. You can gauge the quality of the product by the fact that I still use the blazer and it doesn’t look a day old!
