When we were children, almost all of us wanted to grow fast and be teenagers fantasizing of the freedom one has in high school and college. But once we reach that level, we wanted even more independence and wanted to start working as soon as possible so that we don’t have to ask for money from our parents. These are the phases of life, I think everyone goes through and so did I.
But what’s more exciting, maybe even more than these phases, is the preparation we do for the first day of our new life. I remember when I graduated and was placed in a very reputed company, I was very eager for the first day of my first job like what to wear. My elder sister took me to the hub of all shopping activities in Delhi which is CP (Connaught Place). I went through various shops and finally went and bought my first formal wear from the Van Heusen showroom.
Those decent yet smart looking clothes were what I wore on my first day and then days after that. Even for MBA interviews, they were the clothes I wore because they were the ones in which I started the most excited and challenging part of my life. They gave me the confidence to face this world and challenges that are going to be brought in front of me.
