Growing up, I was primarily shy, my focus being academics and cricket. In Class 10, I decided to become a part of the School Students council. However, my profile was not the right fit and I simply had to break out of my cocoon. Over the next two years, I participated in events, built a rapport with my batch mates and did everything to achieve this goal. It was not easy, however, finally in Class 12, I was indeed elected! It was a huge achievement for me. I realized that with hard work and perseverance, anything is possible.
Another instance which made me believe in the same was during my internship at Futures First. I devised a strategy in copper trading, a new division, the strategy was approved by the senior analysts. The strategy was profitable in a stimulating environment. However, when we went live with it, we ended up with huge losses. We had lost 4-5 times my stipend with minimum lot size.
I was demotivated and devastated, in my embarrassment, I went to my manager and requested to forego my salary. My manager was very kind, he motivated me and gave me the book 'Market Wizards’' to read. After reading stories of successful traders, I reworked on my strategy, we made several tweaks and tested it again in live markets. This time we were profitable, my two-month internship was extended to five months and I am proud to say that my strategy is being implemented by the new recruits at Futures First. I realized that success is not guaranteed the first time, however, with hard work and perseverance, it isn't far.

Aditya Birla Group has come a long way, right from its inception in 1857 to its current operations in 2019. The organization has only been increasing its reach since then and become an indispensable part of life for millions of people all around the globe, including mine.
Companies under Aditya Birla Group have created a lasting memory in my life. Be it the witty advertisements of Idea with its famous tagline of “What an idea Sirji” or Ultratech Cements “The Engineer’s Choice”. Not only the advertisements but also its products and services are closely connected with me, to the best days of my life, my childhood. I still remember taking out parathas cooked by my mother from Freshwrapp’s aluminium foils and eating it up during the classes, also going for Diwali shopping to Pantaloons.
Not just during my childhood but I have been associated with it till date. Louis Philippe suits have been my partner in all major interviews, meetings I have faced or held during my life. In my MBA journey too Aditya Birla group companies continue to support me. It is the first time I have been staying away from my family but Vodafone has helped me stay connected to my family.
