With the tag line of “Taking India to the World” it has now become a name well known not only in India but overseas as well. Competing with top brands all over the world, ABG group has solidified their presence in India very effectively. Come what may be the sector ABG has its prominent presence in it. For example, in finance sector they have AB Capitals, in fashion and retail they have brands like Pantaloons, Van Huesen, Allen Solly etc. in construction sector they are leaders in form of UltraTech cements. It may be a good bet to say that if an item is picked out of random, it might belong to ABG group.
Unknowingly ABG was part of my life even before I started feeling its presence. My father, an ardent fan of the brand Van Huesen, Peter England and Allen Solly, always preferred clothes of these brands over others. And when it come tailored clothing, his choice used to be Grasim. He always said that the feel of this brand cannot be duplicated. Even the clothes I bought for my first job was from Planet Fashion and that too of Van Huesen. So, in some way or the other ABG has always been there and made contributions in my life.
Coming to the part of social responsibility, it has provided free education to more than 20000 students in over 56 schools. It considers social vision is an integral part of the business vision every year Aditya Birla group reaches 7 million people to improve their quality of life.
