ABG has contributed massively to nation building and it is inevitable to not come across ABG’s product in a day’s activity. Being said that, ABG has contributed at a very special time in my life which I won’t be able to forget. It was the time of my farewell from school, it was 2010. Never in my life had I worn a suit and it was this time that I needed a formal suiting. Coming from a humble family I started out searching for a proper suit that would suit me for farewell as well as for future use as and when required. I searched many stores and found that few suits way too overpriced and few of them didn’t fit the criteria that I presumed should have, but I came across one store where the price was affordable for me as well as the suit was elegant for me to stand out of the crowd. I spent hours in the apparel store in a dilemma which one to buy and which one to drop. After around 2.5 hours I decided upon the suit which I saw at the first instant. It suited perfect for me. And that suit is still with me. The store name was Peter England. And later on, I got to know that it was a part of Aditya Birla Group. The occasion was special and I will live with it forever where I found the perfect match, thanks to Peter England & Aditya Birla Group.
When I joined my first job after engineering, everything was new for me as I had not faced any corporate culture and I had also to move to a new city. Gradually I grew along with all the things around me and started to get a knack of things. There were many challenges that I faced in my job before joining IIFT but one that stands out is when I had to work on an iPhone XR release all alone. As a first timer, every first timer gets a senior team member to shadow him/her for deployment, but due to some reasons my senior team member was unavailable at that point of time and it needed to be completed in a particular time frame. It was very challenging as I was never in that shoes before and I was supposed to be trained before to put me in that situation. I carried out a complex activity without help which was supposed to have an additional senior team member. The activity was very important as it was directly related to the revenue. The applications that I was working on was a mission critical application and had to be kept an eye all the time. Post deployment the activity was subjected to a regression test which it passed successfully. This was the time when I worked on something as big with all the responsibility on my shoulders and passed it successfully. #ABGLP , #ABGLP woo me - season 2
