Part A: How has ABG affected my Life

Aditya Birla Group is an Indian multinational conglomerate which has contributed in almost all sectors of life, including fashion and apparels, construction, communication, food wrappers, chemical industry, and more. They have hence affected our lives in almost all sectors.

Now coming to the ways ABG products have affected me, the first thing that comes to my mind is Pantaloons. Almost every time I need to by a dress, I buy it from pantaloons. Shirts and t-shirts of Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly all have been a regular buy for me.

For calls and internet, I use the Idea Cellular in which ABG has 26% share.

Ultratech cement is a major brand of the ABG. They “Build Beautiful”.

Since my school days, I have been carrying my tiffin packed within the “Freshwrapp Aluminum Foil”, which is produced by the ABG. It keeps the food fresh for long time.

Now, coming to the special initiatives done by the ABG, around 46500 children are taught in about 56 schools all across India.

About 1 million patients are provided with treatment in over 20 hospitals in India.

Aditya Birla focuses on delivering superior products and maintaining a sustainable balance. Wallcare has anti carbonation ability. Birla white is an eco-friendly cement.

In all I can without doubt admit that the Aditya Birla Group has a major impact in my life and it will continue to grow itself and continue making our lives more efficient, comfortable and sustainable in the long run. Thank you ABG.

Part B: How I overcame my challenges to achieve my ambition in Life.

Practice makes a man perfect, and it is the challenging situations that tests an individual and makes him work with all his potential. It is these challenges that makes up an individual.

Since my young age, time management had been the biggest challenge to me. It was my habit to keep deferring everything until the last moment. I would rush to finish the work just a few minutes before deadline.

There were a lot of situations where I had to miss the submission of an assignment or study nonstop on the night before the exam just to complete the syllabus. I missed many opportunities in the process.

It was during my final year in college, that I realized I should get over the habit which in a way was the major cause of my downfall in many cases. I started to make plans for the week during the weekends and tried to adhere to it as much as I could. I kept in mind to finish my works as quickly as possible, without waiting for the deadline. Keeping a dairy and noting down the daily progress really helped me in coming out of this.

Post my college life when I stepped into my professional career, I made it a point to make it a fresh start without keeping any delays. During my work tenure, I was into a project in which I had to address issues within strict deadlines to prevent getting penalized. It took me a long way in making me a person who is now more planned, organized and prompt in my activities.
