Part – A
Aditya Birla Group is India’s one of the largest and most respected brands, founded in 1857 the group is a global conglomerate and is fortune 500 company. The group interests in sectors such as Viscose Staple Fibre, Metals, Cement (largest in India), Yarns, Branded Apparel, Carbon black, Chemicals, Fertilisers, Insulators, Financial Services, Telecom, BPO and IT Services.
The brand is present in all aspects of the life of a person. My journey with the brand started in 2005 when my house was being built. Ultratech cement was the first choice of the family for our house. I got my first mobile connection in 2009 and Idea cellular was my first-choice courtesy the quirky and intelligent ads which were aired that time! I have been a committed customer ever since and have been with the thick and thin with the brand. ‘What an Idea Sirji’ had become a usual norm in my life and I was famously known as “Sirji” since then.
Apart from Idea I have also been a loyal customer of the fashion brands with Louis Philippe being the most preferred brand. The quality and design is the best among the similar brands and is at par with the international brands of clothing and apparels. Louis Philippe provides a premium & classy feel to me whenever I wear it and also gives me the confidence to leave a mark in whatever work I do.
Undoubtedly Aditya Birla Group is present in all aspects of everyone’s life and has been shaping our lives.
Part – B
Achieving Ambition is one of the hardest and most satisfying thing one can do in his/her life the only thing which can top it is leaving an impact in life. Right after my college in 2015 I decided to take the entrepreneurial road and thought of leaving a mark in life. During college I had developed a website for ride sharing which became a hit in the college and I decided to pursue this after my college.
The hardest part was assembling the team for the challenge which was to build a strong sustainable business model. Getting developers, business development people was not easy, the challenge was to convince them to join my company and leave the job offer which they had receive from the campus. A few people joined and I went ahead in creating a company. The business kicked off on a good note and expanded quickly in the city. Now were not only providing a platform to share rides but were also providing the cab services. But the challenge which was brewing up was that of sustenance and longevity. The biggest challenge that we faced was that of providing the committed service. In order to do that we required a good number of drivers. There were days when me and other members of the team used to drive the cars. But we worked hard in getting drivers onboard with us and in some time had a good number of vehicles. Within a few months investors agreed for investment and our company had accelerated even further.
This small time had helped me realise the nuances present in business and how businesses run in real life. Though the investors pulled off later and we had to call it a day at our company but this time was the most enriching experience till now and has taught me a lot.
